Marian Jameson

Marian Jameson, 90, of Whitney, passed away on May 17, 2018, in Waco. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at Whitney Memorial Park under the direction of Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney with Chaplain Merry Wilburn officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.

Marian was born on January 31, 1928, in Fort Worth, to William and Leta (Clayton) Bennett. She was raised in Fort Worth, then lived in Houston 25 years before moving to Whitney in 1985.
On February 14, 1947, she married Robert Lewis Jameson and he preceded her in death on December 21, 1990. Marian worked as an accountant and in her spare time, she loved working crossword puzzles and playing solitaire. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Episcopal Church in Laguna Park.

Also preceding her in death were her parents; a son, William Jameson; and a brother, Mark Mulkey.

Survivors include a daughter, Cynthia Ann Jerman and husband, Jerry, of Cameron and a son, Robert C. Jameson of Prosper; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and a sister, June Green and husband, Don of Whitney.
