Marie Adams

Marie Adams, 78, of Odessa died Saturday, May 26, 2007, at Odessa Medical Center in Odessa. Marie was born March 6, 1929 in Bynum, Texas the daughter of James E. and Martha Taylor Isbell. She grew up in Hillsboro and married Orville Adams on January 18, 1947. He preceded her in death on April 1, 1983. In 1964, she moved to Burleson where she was a member of the Crestmont Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents; son, Jimmy Adams; and sister, Genell Owens. Her survivors include a daughter, Treon Johnson and husband, J. Glenn of Iowa Park; son, Hoot Adams and wife Cindy of Odessa; Sisters: Melba Waller of Wichita Falls, Marilyn Radke of College Station, Lowayne Pollard of Zachary, LA, Doris Cornelius and husband, Homer of Hensley, Ark.; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; an uncle, Weldon Isbell and wife, Rose of Grand Prairie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
