Marie Canada

Marie London Canada, 93, of Hillsboro died Monday, December 12, 2005 at Town Hall Estates Nursing Home in Hillsboro. Marie was born November 2, 1912 in Itasca, Texas the daughter of George Raymond and Manie Mae Clark London. She grew up in Itasca and was a resident of Hillsboro since 1989. For 25 years she was a nurses aide in Dallas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hillsboro and Eastern Star. Preceding her in death were her parents; on brother, Rufus London; and two sisters, Lillian Clack and Lucille Cummings. Survivors include a brother, Melvin London and wife, Carmen, of Granbury; sister, Joyce Burt and husband, Redin, of Chandler; sister-in-law, Billie London of Lewisville; step-daughter, Beverly Orr and husband, Ronald, of Hillsboro; step-granddaughter, Ronda Hester and husband, Danny, of Hillsboro; step-grandson, Jamey Orr and wife, Kim, of Hillsboro; three step-great-grandsons; and many nieces and nephews.
