Marie Degner

Marie Della Degner passed away on June 4, 2005 at Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro, Texas. Marie was born on February 1, 1912 in Malone, Texas to Will and Emma Conrad Schronk. She spent most of her life in Hill County and on April 10, 1927, she was confirmed at Salem Lutheran Church in Malone. Maire married T. C. Degner on February 16, 1930 and he preceded her in death on June 26, 1952. She was a homemaker and a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Hillsboro. Preceding her in death were her son, Delbert Degner in January 2001; eight sisters and four brothers. Survivors include her children; Wilton Skeet Degner and wife, Dovie of Arlington, Walter Ray Degner and wife, Linda of Arlington, Alton Charlie Degner and wife, Cynthia of Davilla, Emma Marie Cobb and husband, Mike of Hillsboro, Kenneth Lee Degner and wife, Betty of Hillsboro; daughter-in-law, Pat Degner of Euless; 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and numberous nieces and nephews.
