Marie Johnson

Marie Johnson, 87, of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, October 4, 2005, at her residence. Marie was born September 5, 1918 in Pine Hill, Texas the daughter of Oscar and Lela Osborne Kirksey. She lived most of her life in Hill County. On December 5, 1933 she married J. G. ?Red? Johnson and he preceded her in death on April 18. 1986. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Also preceding her in death were her parents; two daughters, Anita Johnson in 1974 and Glenda Gilley in 2003; six brothers; and two sisters. Survivors include her children, Don Johnson and wife, Shirley of Covington, Wayne Johnson and wife, Kathleen of Savoy, Sandra Williams of Cedar Park, and Lynette Morgan of Whitney; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Juan G.
