She was born on August 20, 1924, in Avoca, TX the daughter of Frank and Annie Kutach. All of her grandchildren loved to spend summers and holidays hanging out at the farm with their “Momo” and some of the most favorite past-times were playing Chinese checkers, dominoes, cards and shelling black-eyed peas. She always enjoyed family, social gatherings and polka dancing. Marie devoted her evenings to prayer alongside Johnnie as a faithful Catholic and frequently thanked the Lord above for all His mercy and grace. She was a strong and steadfast follower of Jesus, and in all cases she repeatedly put herself last.
