Marilyn L. (Kelly) Mckelvey

Marilyn L Mckelvey, age 62 of Aquilla, Texas passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022, at her residence. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Monday, February 7, 2022, at Whitney Memorial Park in Whitney with Deacon Ronnie Sykora officiating. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm Sunday, February 6, 2022.

Marilyn was born November 5,1959, in Dallas, Texas to Virgil Henry and Carol (Miller) Kelly. She was united in marriage to Joe Harrell McKelvey Jr..  She loved her husband till the end, she never went out ever after he passed away. Marilyn loved him more than anything else in the world.  She did the best to raise us that she knew how we were dirt floor poor, but we almost always had something to eat. She did her best with what God gave us, rest her soul.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her grandson, Alex T.; daughter, Theresa T.; her father; 2 brothers; and husband, Joe McKelvey Jr.

Marilyn is survived by her children, Joe McKelvey and wife Mayra of Whitney; her sister, Donna of Bryan College Station; and 9 grandchildren.
