Marion Horace (MH) Campbell, 84, of Waco passed away May 29, 2017, at his home. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 2, 2017, at Bell Springs Cemetery near Bynum with Mr. Scott Talley of Crestview Church of Christ officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Friday prior to service time at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

Marion was born December 22, 1932 in Malone. After graduating from Bynum High School in 1951, Marion earned a degree from Draughon’s Business College in Dallas in 1952. He married Se Layna Walters on October 31, 1952. They spent their early married life in Dallas and moved to Waco in 1955, where they lived for the past 62 years.

Marion worked for Certainteed for 32 years and Artco Bell for 7 years. He enjoyed traveling, reading, fishing, and watching UT baseball. He was a loving, devoted husband and father, and a faithful member of Crestview Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac Hugh and Lena Ruth (Stallings) Campbell and brother, Jim Campbell.

Marion is survived by his wife, Se Layna Campbell of Waco; two sons, Tony Campbell of Waco and Stephen Campbell and wife, Martha, of Dallas; three grandchildren, Blake Campbell and wife, Allison, Betsy (Campbell) Rodriguez and husband, Arturo, and Andrew Campbell; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Marion’s family gives special thanks to Dr. Okani and staff at Texas Oncology and Bluebonnet Health Services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Bell Springs Cemetery Association, c/o Aaron Walters, 1515 HCR 3150 N, Bynum, TX 76631.
