Marsha Griffin

Marsha Griffin, 74, of Clifton, passed away on December 20, 2017, in Waco. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Whitney Memorial Park in Whitney, Texas with Rev. Melissa Graham of Line Street Methodist Church in Hillsboro, officiating. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM, Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney, Texas.

Marsha was born on November 25, 1943, in Dallas, to Hugh and Virginia (Stephens) Wilson. She grew up in Houston and moved to Dallas as a young lady. On March19, 1982, she married Wayne Griffin. She worked for LTV as a cost accountant before moving to Whitney in 1995.

As with any grandmother, spending time with her grandchildren was one her favorite pastimes. Fishing and reading were hobbies that she enjoyed doing regularly. Marsha was known to be an excellent cook.

Preceding her in death was her mother, Virginia Wilson and a brother, Stephen Wilson.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Griffin of Clifton; children, Misty Edwards and husband, Ron of Woodway and Traci Gilkerson of Waco; and grandchildren, Connor Gilkerson, Kayla Gilkerson, and Camryn Gilkerson.
