Martha Jane (Sedberry) Anderson

Martha Jane (Sedberry) Anderson, age 72, passed away June 11, 2024 in Waco, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 14, 2024 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Marshall and Marshall. Burial to follow at Towash Cemetery in Whitney, Texas.

Martha was born October 16, 1951, in Whitney, Texas to her loving parents, Jewell Sedberry and Wilma Nell Wilson. She married the love of her life, Jasper Anderson on August 8, 1967, spending 57 beautiful years together. Martha loved to sew, crochet, reading, dancing, but most of all, she loved being a member of Pleasent Hill MBC. Her true passion was being a CNA (certified Nurse Aide) for 40 years, giving her residents as well as their families the love and compassion they needed!

Martha is preceded in death by her parents, Jewell and Wilma Sedberry; brothers, Jerry Wayne Sedberry and Wallace Sedberry; and her sister, Marylin Sedberry.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jasper Anderson; children, Anthony ( Jana) Anderson, Audrey Milam and husband Aaron of Segoville, Texas, and Amii Anderson of Whitney, Texas; siblings, Sandra and husband Russell Crawford of Meridian, Texas, Vanessa Sedberry of Clifton, Texas, Shirley Seberry and Rufus Sedberry of Clifton, Texas; grandchildren, Erika Brown and husband Zack, Javis Williams, Christopher J.Brown Jr., Jasper Levonne (JP), Jayden Knox, Jordan Johnson, and Jairdyn Anderson; and great-grandchildren, Loy'Ael Anderson and Phoenix Gaines.
