Martha Morgan

Martha Frances Morgan, 73, of Whitney passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2011.

Graveside services were held at Noon on Tuesday, January 11, 2011, at Whitney Memorial Park in Whitney.

Martha was born on April 14, 1937 in Cleburne, the daughter of the late Allen and Mary Jones Strother. She had lived in the Fort Worth area most of her life and in Whitney since 1982. Martha enjoyed being outside, camping, fishing, and traveling.

On April 14, 1983 she married Jerry P. Morgan in Hillsboro. She was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry; children, Johnny Maxwell of Burleson, Cindy May Moore and husband, Marcus of Rendon, Robert Ivan Maxwell of Fort Worth; step-children, Harold Maxwell and wife, Barbara of Burleson, Ron Maxwell of Sacremento, CA; sister, Mary Sue Strother of Waco; 8 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
