Martha Morgan

Graveside Services for Martha Frances Morgan will be held at Noon on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at Whitney Memorial Park in Whitney with Rev. Wade Yarbro officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 - 11:00 AM, Tuesday at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney. Martha was born on April 14, 1937 in Cleburne, Texas, the daughter of Allen Strother and May Jones Strother. She lived most of her life in the Ft. Worth area before moving to Whitney in 1982. She enjoyed the outside, especially camping and fishing, as well as traveling. She was a homemaker and a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Whitney. She was preceded in death by her parents. Martha is survived by her spouse, Jerry Morgan of Aquilla; three children: Johnny Maxwell of Burleson; Cindy May Moore and husband, Marcus of Rendon; Robert Ivan Maxwell of Ft. Worth; two step-children: Harold Maxwell and wife, Barbara of Burleson, and Ron Maxwell of Sacramento, CA; one sister, Mary Sue Strother of Waco; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
