Martha Rosenbaum

Martha Lindsey Rosenbaum, 92, of Austin passed away Sunday March 22, 2015, in an Austin nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Rev. Randy Burch officiating. Burial will follow at Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. prior to service time on Saturday.

Born June 13, 1922 in Dallas, she was the daughter of John Franklin and Anne M. (Burch) Lindsey. She grew up in Hill County and graduated from Hillsboro High School and Hill Junior College. Martha married George Weaver while he was serving his country during war time. For 10 years, the couple lived in Ohio and later moved back to Texas, living in Dallas and Houston. After retiring as an administrative assistant from Texas Instruments, Martha moved back to Hillsboro. She was a member of Crestview Baptist Church in Georgetown and Order of Eastern Star Chapter #769 in Hillsboro and A. C. Garrett Chapter #774 in Dallas since 1979.

Survivors include her daughter, Dr. Ellen Marie Raghavan of Houston; and two grandchildren, Anjuli Herrington of Austin and David Raghavan of New York, New York.
