Martha Strange

Martha Strange, 78, of Lake Whitney passed away on August 6, 2004 at her residence. She was the daughter of Roy and Roberta Payne Dalton. She married Jack Strange on December 8, 1945 in Itasca. She moved to Dallas in 1946 and retired to Lake Whitney in 1978. She worked at Magnolia for 3 years, Channel 8 WFAA for 5 years and Dr. May's Optometrist for 5 years. The love of Martha's life was her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a cook extraordaire and wias known for her fabulous briskets and pinto beans. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Jack of Lake Whitney; children, Tommy Strange and wife, Donna of De Soto, Jackie Paulson of Lake Whitney; grandchildren, Track Strange and husband, Henrik Frijs of Germany, Jenny Strange of Grand Prairie, Corporal Lee Strange US Marine Najaf, Iraq; great grandchildren, August Strange and Beckett Strange of Germany.
