Mary Dunn

Mary Oree Dunn, 84, of Arlington passed away on May 15, 2009. Mary was born in Hillsboro, the daughter of C. W. and Mary Belle NilesHarris. She attended Grub Hill schools in Hill County and was working at the Cotton Mill in Hillsboro when she married William F. Dunn on December 24, 1946. After marriage the couple lived in Hillsboro for a few years and later settled in Fort Worth in 1951. She had been living in Arlington for the past three years. For almost twenty years, she worked at Ben Hogan Company in Fort Worth personalizing golf balls. She was a charter member of Edge Park Methodist Church and loved flower gardening and working in her yard. Preceding her in death were her parents; son, Ron Dunn, sister, Areda Bonds; brothers, J. R. and Johnnie Harris. Survivors: husband, William F. Dunn of Arlington; daughter, Melanie Copeland and husband, Ralph of Arlington; grandchildren, Chris Copeland and wife, Liz of Bedford, Amber Jackson and husband, Paul of Arlington and several nieces and nephews.
