Mary Evelyn Pugh

Mary Evelyn Pugh, 58, of Milford passed away Thursday, January 23, 2020, at her residence.  Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Richland Cemetery near Mertens with Rev. Steve Gilley officiating.

Mary was born September 8, 1961, in Dallas to Gladys Evelyn (Fulton) and Melvin Clarence Beckham, Jr.  She grew up in Corsicana and attended school there.  For many years, she worked as a CNA at Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation in Huntingdon, TN.  She was an avid animal lover who especially loved butterflies and horses.  In her spare time, Mary loved gardening, tending to her flowers, and traveling.  She was of the Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Curtis Melvin Pugh, Jr., on January 13, 2016; two brothers, Keith Fulton and Melvin Ray Beckham; and a nephew, Chris Beckham.

Survivors include her children, Jamie Barker and friend, Brian Garriott, and Amanda Prather and husband, Brian, all of McKenzie, TN; two brothers, Robert Beckham and wife, Janell, of Milford and Bruce Beckham and wife, Annette, of Corsicana; grandchildren, Matthew Garriott, Breana Garriott, and Katelyn Prather; and nephews and nieces, Bryan Fulton, Kevin Fulton, Marc Beckham, Kelly Hamn, and Paige Beckham.
