Mary Franklin

Mary Franklin, 76, of Moody, formerly of Hillsboro and Fort Worth, died Monday, December 10, 2007 at Westview Manor in McGregor. Mary was born August 10, 1931 in Hillsboro the daughter of Marcus Edward and Valley Ezell Wood Hickey. She grew up in Hillsboro but spent most of her life in Fort Worth. For many years she was married to Tommy Franklin. She worked many years in the plastic industry. In 2006 she moved to Moody. She was a member of the Church of The Nazarene in Hillsboro and VFW Ladies Auxiliary #1189 in Fort Worth. Preceding her in death were her parents, six brothers, and two sisters. Survivors include her children, Linda Harlin of Fort Worth, Glenda Jensen and husband, Mark, of Fort Worth, Brenda Rodriguez and husband, Tony, of Fort Worth, Donna Polston and husband, John, of Moody, and Tommy B. Franklin of Fort Worth; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
