Mary E. Gonzalez

Mary E. Gonzalez, age 92, passed away Friday, April 3, 2020 in Hillsboro. A private service will be held. A viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2020 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

Mary was born September 16, 1927 in the Massey community of Hill County, Texas. She was the daughter of Alonzo Jasper and Berdie E. (Harlin) Boyd. She attended Prairie Point School in Hill County. In December of 1945, she married Noble Moore and later married Bennie Gonzalez in 1970. Mary was a member of the church of Christ.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Oriana Williams, Otha Lee Boyd and Alonzo Jasper Boyd, Jr.

She is survived by her sons, Larry Noble Moore and wife, Adela, Gary Van Moore and wife, Catherine, Terry Moore and wife, Linda and Greg Moore; stepsons, Bennie Gonzalez, Jr. and Lee Roy Gonzalez; grandchildren, Lindsey Moore, Dustin Moore, Natasha Hickman, Jacquline Moore Lisa Grooms, Gary Matthew Moore and Jeffrey Moore; numerous great grandchilden.
