Biography

Mary Goodgion, 78, of Frost passed away Saturday, January 7, 2012, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Whitney with Rev. Leah Hidde-Gregory of Frost United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Whitney Memorial Park in Whitney. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at the funeral home.

Mary was born on December 3, 1933 the daughter of Tom and Mamie (Peacock) White and grew up in the Whitney area. She worked as a secretary for a heating and air conditioning business in Dallas for many years. On April 17, 1958 she was united in marriage with Jamie Goodgion and they continued to live in the Dallas area. After Mary and Jamie retired they moved to Frost. Mary was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Bobby Cameron, in 2007.

Survivors include her husband, Jamie of Frost; one brother, Thomas White of Garland; one grandson, Robert Cameron; and one great-grandson, Anthony Cameron.
