Mary Huckaby

Mary Alice ?Pat? Huckaby, 76, of Hillsboro died Wednesday, September 13, 2006, at Walls Regional Hospital in Cleburne. Pat was born December 12, 1929 in Walnut Springs, Texas the daughter of Clyde Alvin and Lela Inez Parker Tidwell. She lived most of her life in Hill and Bosque counties and lived in Hillsboro since 1960. On February 19, 1947 she married Travis Huckaby in Iredell and he preceded her in death on July 26, 1970. A loving grandmother, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. For 18 years she was a clerk at Wal-Mart, retiring in 1996. Also preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers, and two sisters. Survivors include her children, Shirley Ann Rose and husband, Johnny, of Whitney, Sharon West and husband, Mark, of Cleburne, and Steve Huckaby and wife, Gayla, of Purdon; brother, Richard Tidwell and wife, Jimmie, of San Angelo; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
