She was the daughter of Eli C. Foster and Kathleen Lincoln Foster. She graduated from Tulsa Central High School in 1937 and attended Oklahoma University from 1937-1939 where she was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. She graduated from Tulsa University in 1941. Mary worked for several years at Brown-Dunkin Co. in Tulsa as a fashion consultant. She married James J. Levins Jr. on April 27, 1945 at Christ The King Church in Tulsa.They moved to Hillsboro from Cleveland, Ohio in 1953. He preceded her in death on August 27, 1997. Mary was a life member of Philotechnos, the Hillsboro Garden Club, and Sesame Club. Survivors include: Sons; James J. Jim Levins III of Austin, J.L. Link Levins of Mesquite, Daughter-in-law: Lana Levins of Andrews, Granddaughters: Michelle Levins of Andrews, Lori Pickering and husband, Ken of Garland, Kim Gilcrest and husband, Steve of Campbell, Great-grandchildren: Christopher and Kinsey Pickering, Taylor and Sara Gilcrest, Sister: Helen Knox and husband, Howard of Tulsa, OK
