Mary Mccool

Mary Angela McCool 53, of Whitney passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Whitney. Officiating is Mr. Tommy McCool Jr. The visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery near Whitney.

Mary was born on November 24, 1962 in Whitney, Texas to the late Tommy and Maudie Lee (Sneed) McCool. She was a member of the Whitney Volunteer Fire Department and was very active and involved with youth sports in Whitney. Mary enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, spending time at the lake and playing cards. She was a homemaker and a member of the Missionary Baptist Church in Whitney.

Also, preceding her in death was her grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Survivors include her children, Brytiany Aiken and husband Jon, of Austin, Aarron Motherspau and wife Jamie, of Whitney, Justin Motherspau and wife Ada of Whitney; brothers, Jesse Sneed
of Whitney, Tommy McCool Jr. and wife Regina of Glen Rose; sister Mary Goff and husband Vance, of Whitney; grandchildren, Christian Motherspau and Kaelyn Motherspau of Whitney; 1 grandson on the way, Jonathan Aiken Jr. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
