Mary Meeks

Mary Elizabeth Meeks, 84, of Hillsboro passed away Thursday, August 22, 2013, at Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro. A private service will be held at a later date.

Mary was born April 14, 1929 in Waxahachie to James and Mary (McClendon) Parsons. She lived in Hill County most of her life. On August 29, 1947, she married Monro Meeks and he preceded her in death on August 26, 1997. She was a Christian by faith.

Also preceding her in death were her parents; and three sisters, Doris Kitchens, Larue Trapp, and Linda Ledvina.

Survivors include her two daughters, Marquita Ray and husband, Greg, of Hillsboro and Jackie Suomi and husband, Charlie, of Whitney; two sisters, Wynell Huebsch of Fort Worth and Eva Steed of Whitney; one brother-in-law, Elvin Meeks of Hillsboro; seven grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren.
