Mary Morgan

Mary Frances Morgan, 94, of Hillsboro passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014, at Town Hall Estates Nursing Home in Hillsboro. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2014, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Rev. Raymond Martin officiating. Frances will be laid to rest in Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro beside her husband, Frank, whom she married on July 1, 1937 and he preceded her in death in 1969. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to service time.

Frances was born March 28, 1919 in the Ellis County community of Boz. She was one of 11 children born to Jacob and Nancy Woodall. All of whom have preceded her in death. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hillsboro.

For all those who knew Frances, although small in stature, knew her as a person of many talents, even up until her death. She loved her Lord and lived her life to the fullest. She was an inspiration to all, especially to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were two great-grandchildren, Anthony and Amber.

Survivors include her daughters, Janice Ewing and husband, Jerry, of Grand Prairie and Linda Degner and husband, Walter, of Arlington; the pride and joy of her life, grandchildren, Dana Moore, Gayla Robbins, Bryan Degner, Sheryl Malone, Debra Horsman, and Virginia Williams; great-grandchildren, Amy, Steven, Jeremy, Jenna, Morgan, Macy, Michael, Grant, Stacie, and Ashleigh; six great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends, especially those friends who where around her at Town Hall Estates Nursing Home in Hillsboro.
