Mary Mozelle Morgan, 82, of Hillsboro died Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at her residence. Mary was born July 11, 1924 in Bynum, Texas the daughter of Arthur and Mary Jane Walters Martin, the youngest of six children. In 1941 she graduated from Bynum High School and in 1943 she graduated from Hill College. On January 5, 1948 she married Billy Bruce Morgan in Hillsboro and he preceded her in death on February 28, 2000. She taught elementary school in Ryancy School and provided child care in her home for 27 years. For over 50 years she was a member of Line Street United Methodist Church in Hillsboro. Also preceding her in death were her parents; four brothers, Willie, Jesse, Odell, & Roscoe; and one sister, Eunice Sullins. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Janiece Standly and husband, Charley, of Hillsboro; son, Billy A. Morgan and Lisa Brizendine of Giddings; sisters-in-law, Atha Lee Martin and Clara Martin; 4 grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Standly Ryden and husband, Clay, of Stephenville; Charley Michael Standly and wife, Kendra, of Joshua; James Morgan and wife, Bailey, of Andrews; and Mitchell Morgan of College Station; and 7 great-grandchildren, Jesse Kunkel, Mary Catherine Standly, and Zach Ryden all of Stephenville, Courtney Standly of Longview, and NaKaiya Standly, Luhtah Standly, and Ava Standly all of Joshua.
