Mary Ellen Napier, 77, of Whitney, passed away on May 14, 2015, in Waco. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
Mary was born on November 10, 1937, in Dallas, to Barney and Edith (Kenman) Benson. She met the love of her life and married Franklin Pierce Napier on March 29, 1958 in Dallas where they raised their family. He preceded her in death in 1991 and she moved to Whitney at that time with her daughter and grandsons until she moved to Park Plaza Nursing Home in 2009.
She was a homemaker and loving mother of two, grandmother of five, and great-grandmother of 13. She loved doing crafts and had a passion for drawing and quilling.
Survivors include two daughters, Edith King and husband, Butch, of Fort Worth and Erana Liberto and Jason Linnenkugel of Whitney; five grandchildren, Michael Liberto and wife Ashlee, of Whitney, Matthew Liberto of Whitney and LaVerne Meredith of Pennsylvania, Robert Wade of Fort Worth and Aaron Wade and wife, Tiffany, also of Fort Worth; thirteen great-grandchildren; and many loving friends.
