Mary Simmons

She was the daughter of P.A. and Clara Dashner Simmons. She retired as a Certified Nurses Assistant CNA after working at Park Plaza and Town Hall Nursing Homes in Whitney. She did many thoughtful deeds unknown to others to make lives happier. She was particularly grateful to have had the comfort and spiritual talks with Thomas Neuman. May you rest in your sleep until the time for the reawakening. Our thanks to Dr. Lane for his kindness. She was a member of Covenant Baptist Church and American Legion Ladies Auxillary Post # 522 She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Ophelia and Katherine, brother P.A. Junior, nephews Benny Lee, James and Harold Rich. She is survived by a nephew, Michael Rich, beloved friends Sandra Gilbert and Cathey Morgan and all the ones who called her Mama Sue and made her life a happy one.
