Mary Strawn

Mary was born March 14, 1924 in Bonham, Texas, Fannin County, the daughter of Mary Elizabeth and Calvin Province. She resided at 4212 Cravens Rd in Fort Worth, Texas. For a number of years she lived in Hillsboro. A loving caregiver to a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she was also a homemaker. Survivors include four daughters and two sons, Loyd Richard Strawn and wife, Elizabeth, of Hillsboro; Rickey Lee Strawn and wife, Cindi, Lois Averitt and husband, James, Cherry Martin and husband, Willie, Wanda Kyle and husband, Neil, and Julie Gurganus all of Fort Worth; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a host of friends. Preceding her in death were two daughters, Mary Strawn and Ruby Ann Strawn; two grandsons, Baby Cornwell and Shane Strawn; one son-in-law: Richard Gurganus; and three brothers, Jesse Goodman, Earl Goodman, and Irvin Goodman. She was a member of First United Pentecostal Church of Hillsboro, Texas.
