Mary Wade

Mary Wade, 83, of Blum passed away on July 17, 2008. She was the daughter of Guy Cameron and Ruth Victoria Ward Baker. She grew up in Blum and graduated from Blum high school. On Jan. 13, 1946 she married Horton E. Wade and they were married for 57 years before he preceded her in death on March 4, 2003. She was a member of Blum United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W. in Whitney. Also preceding her in death were her parents and brother, Clayton Baker. Survivors include her children, Joan Munday and husband, Dale of Burleson, Alice Noles and husband, Morris of Godley; brother, Charles Baker of Alvarado, B. G. Baker and wife, Mary of Venus; sister, Marie Hayes and husband, Ray of Kopperl; grandchildren, Russell Munday, Stephanie Geis, Bethany Noles; great grandchildren, Jordan, Lauren and Braden Geis.
