In memory of our beloved wife and mother, Mary E. Wilkins, who left her earthly body April 23, 2004 to be with her Savior Jesus Christ. She was born Dec. 29, 1930 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Clarence O. and Gertrude F. Trippey Button. Mary married Don Wilkins April 30, 1950 in Battle Creek, Michigan. She was a resident of Whitney since 1993 and was an active member of King Memorial United Methodist Church in Whitney, a past Worthy Matron of Whitney Chapter 930 Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of Blubonnett Home Extension. She participated in a Walk to Emmaus in 2000. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Pauline Tanner, two brothers, Victor and Ronald Button and son-in-law William Shreve. She is survived by her husband, Don of Whitney. Daughters, Jean Grimm of Hurst, Tx., and Mary Westphal of Bartlett, Tn., two wonderful sons-in-law, Carson Grimm and Kenneth Westphal. Grandchildren, Kristin Shreve, Michael Shreve and wife, Angie, Tammy Westphal, John Westphal, Jordan Grimm and 5 great-grandchildren, Zechariah Shreve, Samuel Lawson Shreve, Tanner Middleton Shreve, Corbin Middleton Shreve, and as yet unborn Ellen Marie Shreve, and beloved niece Carol Lee Halle. A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00a.m., Friday, April 30, 2004 at King Memorial United Methodist Church in Whitney, Tx. with Rev. Timothy Thomas officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Scottish Rite Children?s Hospital, 2222 Welborn St., Dallas, Texas 75219
