Mary Wilson

Mary Sue Wilson, 88, of Whitney passed away on June 25, 2007 in Whitney. Mary Sue was the daughter of Herbert S. and Etta Clark Connolly. She grew up in Whitney and graduated from Whitney High School in 1936. On July 15, 1939, she married ?Hap? Wilson. She taught school in Steiner Valley, Snyder and Big Spring, TX for several years. She played piano for 27 years in the Vincent Baptist Church and served as president of PTA at Gay Hill School in Luther, TX. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Whitney. Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, H. S. Connolly, Jr. and sister, Betty Jo Watson. Survivors include her husband, J. M. ?Hap? Wilson of Whitney;sons, Mike Wilson and wife, Tammy of Whitney, Jeff Wilson and wife, Karen of Big Spring; grandchildren, Jerry Wilson and wife, Danielle, Jessica Jacobs, Karissa Casas and husband, John, Joshua Wilson; 5 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson.
