Matilda "Matty" Little

Matilda "Matty" Ann Little, 73, of Whitney, passed away on June 27, 2017. No services are scheduled at this time.

Matty’s life had touched a lot of people. She was a mother, sister, friend, care giver, an aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was a joyful person, always laughing and smiling. She could start a conversation with just about anybody and make them an instant friend. You were always welcome in her home and you would never leave hungry.

Matty passed away from complications of her lung cancer treatment. Even though she had quit cigarettes 15 years ago, the damage was already done. Matty had emphysema and COPD and was on oxygen for many years. She was very strong and very brave.

I’m sure Matty’s wish would be for everyone who smokes, is to quit. Quit now! Don’t wait.
