Maxine Allen

Maxine Allen, 87 of Blum passed away on January 19, 2008 in Whitney. She was born on April 24, 1920 in Menlow to Luther and Jessie Cook Kennedy. She married Wilson George Allen on December 24, 1937 in Fort Worth and he preceded her in death on February 1, 2003. She worked at Lake Whitney Medical Center as a ward clerk and retired in 1998. She was a member of Open Range Cowboy Church in Whitney. She loved her family dearly and loved children. She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers; 1 great granddaughter and 1 great grandson. Survivors include her children, Charles Allen and wife, Kay of Whitney, Teresa Moore and husband, Larry of Huntsville, Randy Allen of Blum; sisters, Merle Allen and husband, Wendell of Alvarado, Pat Fuller and husband, Billy of Arlington, Dorothy Fuchshuber and husband, Tommy of Aquilla; grandchildren, Donna Johnson and husband, Cliff of Weathrford, Robin Landis and husband, Tommy of Katy, Sandra Orbin and husband, Brian of Whitney, Shannon McHan of Waco, Richie Pope and wife, Patty of Mesquite, Mark McHan and wife, Michelle of Whitney, Rhett Pope and wife, Rachael of Whitney, Keri Kirk of Whitney, Terri Kirk of Whitney, Charla Allen of Fort Worth, Justin Allen of Blum, Julie Conner and husband, Cody of Lillian and 19 great grandchildren.
