Maxine Good, 76, of Covington passed away Monday, June 23, 2014, in a Cleburne hospital. The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
Maxine was born March 8, 1938 in Dawson to Claude Robert and Georgie (Kendrick) Miller. On July 3, 1956 she married Billy Good in Waco. She worked for K & W Convenience Store in Red Oak for 15 years and at Wal-Mart in Waxahachie as a cashier for 17 years. The couple moved from Red Oak to Covington in 2013. An avid bingo player, Maxine also enjoyed going to garage sales on Saturdays with her friend, Dorothy. Preceding her in death were her parents and three brothers, Robert, William Gene, and Maurice Miller.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Billy Good of Covington; son, Michael Good of Covington; sister, Annie Miller of Waco; two grandchildren, Joshua Good of Carthage and Kymber Reeves of Covington; niece, Margaret Ann Gatlin of Waco; two nephews, William Madison of Wylie and Billy Madison of Waco; three great-nieces, Destiny, Holly, and Melissa; and three great-nephews, Kevin, Trey, and J. D.
