Maxine Rape

Maxine Kincaid Rape, 78, of Hillsboro passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012, at Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Rev. Darrel Beggs officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Garden of Memory near Hillsboro. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2012, at the funeral home.

Maxine was born September 14, 1933 in Joshua to the late D. N. and Maurine (Summerhill) Kincaid. She grew up in Godley and graduated from Godley High School. On June 21, 1956 she married Bobby Glen Rape.

A very sociable person, Maxine loved to visit neighbors, go shopping, and attend family activities. She also liked to read and take care of her family.

She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Hillsboro and the Eastern Star.

Also preceding her in death was her brother, David Kincaid.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Glen Rape of Hillsboro; two daughters, Lana Tadsen and husband, Mike, of Burleson and Lisa Cozart and husband, Lin, of Cleburne; two sisters, Barbara Hardcastle and husband, George, and Debbie Thurston and husband, Randy, all of Gainesville; and three grandchildren, Jared and Melissa Tadsen both of Burleson and Amanda Luebbehusen and husband, Tyler, of Cleburne.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 4150 International Plaza Suite 125, Fort Worth, TX 76109.
