Michael Colucci, Jr

Michael “Cody” Colucci, Jr., 73, of Whitney, passed away on July 10, 2018 at his residence. The family will hold a memorial graveside service with military honors at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018, at Bethlehem Cemetery in Whitney.

Michael was born on September 12, 1944, in Brooklyn, NY, to Michael, Sr. and Concetta (Lapico) Colucci. He grew up in Brooklyn and attended school there. From February 11, 1963 to January 30, 1965, he served his country in the United States Army in Vietnam and Germany in an airborne division as a gunner.

He enjoyed truck driving for almost 30 years before retiring. Thanks to his career, he traveled across the U.S. and also lived in many different locations. As pastimes, he enjoyed cooking and drawing.

Michael was of the Catholic faith. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #522.

Survivors include his children, son, Steve Colucci and daughter, Michele Colucci; six grandchildren, Ralphie, Ashlie, Kristin, Gina, Dixie and John; 5 great-grandchildren, Emma, Cody, Aaron, Aubrey and Hailey; a sister and brothers.
