Michael Daily

Michael Dean Daily, age 60, of Itasca, left an indelible mark on the lives of those who loved him, passing away on January 7th, 2025. A graveside memorial service will be held on a later date at Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro, celebrating his remarkable life.

Born on March 6, 1964, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Gerald G. and Sandra L. (Knotts) Daily, Michael's life was a testament to his strength and resilience. A proud graduate of Richland High School in North Richland Hills, Texas, and the University of North Texas, Michael went on to build a successful career as a construction superintendent, working with some of the largest home builders in North Texas.

His passion for life was evident in his love for watching the Kansas City Royals and the Kansas City Chiefs, and his deep connection with the outdoors. Michael's heart was filled with love for his family, his dog, and the countless lives he touched. His unwavering integrity and unshakeable optimism inspired all who knew him.

Though he was preceded in death by his brother Bryan Daily, his paternal grandparents, Wallace Daily, Sr. and Lucy (Taylor) Daily of Hillsboro, and maternal grandparents, Jessie Moulthrop of Kansas, Michael's legacy lives on. He is survived by his son Malcolm Daily, grandsons, and parents Gerald and Sandra Daily of Itasca, as well as a multitude of relatives and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
