Michael Peter Diduch, 76, of Whitney, passed away on December 15, 2016, at his residence.
A graveside service under the direction of Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors of Whitney, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at Whitney Memorial Park with Pastor Phillip Wottrich officiating. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., on Monday, December 19, 2016, at the funeral home.
Michael was born on October 1, 1940, in Chicago, Illinois, to Michael and Hazel Ruth (Hanson) Diduch and grew up there. In 1958, he joined the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Texas where he met Juanita Bedford and they were married on May 7, 1960. He worked as a paint contractor for 49 years before retiring in 2009. His favorite pastime and hobby was fishing. He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Whitney.
Preceding in death were his parents, Michael and Hazel Ruth Diduch and sister, Lil Tekip.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Diduch of Whitney; children, Buster Diduch of Whitney, Terry Wayne Diduch and wife, Terre of Joshua, Jessie Diduch and wife, Zena of Whitney and Scott Diduch and wife, Laura of Cleburne; 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; sisters Nancy Budish and husband, Richard of Florida, Hazel Wykel of Wisconsin and Marie Frederickson and husband, Tom, of Illinois.
