Michael Peacock

Michael Odell Peacock, 40, of Whitney, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 17, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Whitney with Rev. Greg Johnson officiating.

Michael was born in Whitney, Texas, June 13, 1972, to Claude Lee and Valery (Hope) Peacock. He enjoyed listening to all types of music and also enjoyed watching wrestling. Raising and training game chickens as well as enjoying the sport was another of Michael’s past times. A member of First Church of the Nazarene in Whitney, he also attended the Open Range Cowboy Church.

He was preceded in death by his daddy, Bud Peacock, on September 26, 1999.

Survivors include his mother, Valery Peacock of Whitney; brother, Jimmy Peacock of Whitney; sister-in-law Kim Peacock of Whitney; three nephews, Clinton Peacock, Daniel Peacock and Nathan Sanders all of Whitney; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
