Michael Wiltse

Michael Winton Wiltse, 26, of Hillsboro, passed away on December 17, 2014, at his home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, December 22, 2014, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney, with Reverend Eddie Booth, officiating. Burial will follow at Peoria Cemetery in Peoria.

Michael was born on June 13, 1988 in Fort Worth, to Michael Stanley and Sebrina (Tidwell) Wiltse. He graduated from Whitney High School in 2006. An avid music fan and very passionate about music, he especially liked classic rock and heavy metal rock. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Working at Petro as a diesel mechanic, he also worked at Gates Precast as a quality control inspector. On July 30, 2010, he married Ashley Blair in Beaumont.

He was a very loving and devoted father. He had a gentle spirit and heart, always ending every conversation with “I love you.” Michael was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Ashely Wiltse of Peaster; children, Michael Matthew Wiltse and Hannah Louise Wilste of Peaster; parents, Michael and Sebrina Wiltse of Whitney; two sisters Stasha Gilchrest and husband, Roy and Shelby McComas and Sharon Matthews, all of Whitney; grandmothers, Billie Wilson of Springtown and Charla Dahl of Clifton; several aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
