Micheal L. Kelley

Micheal L. Kelley, 82, of Aquilla, passed away at his residence on December 24, 2019.  A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 30, 2019, at Smith Bend-Coon Creek Cemetery in Bosque County with Mr. David Kelley and Mr. Charles Bellows officiating.    A visitation will be held at the cemetery Monday morning from 10:00 – 11:00 am.  He will lie in state from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday December 29, 2019 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney.

Micheal was born on July 7, 1937, in Goree, Texas, to Henry and Verner Opal (Lewis) Kelley.   In 1955, he graduated from Texas High School in Goree, Texas.   After graduation, from 1955 – 1959, he served his country in the United States Navy aboard the USS Forester.   After the Navy, he worked as a salesman for construction equipment.

Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers, Sammy H. Kelley and Richard Foster Kelley.

Survivors include his sisters, Paula Ann Roberts of Latham Springs, Texas and Colleen Kelley Teaff Sedwick of North Bend, Washington; brother, David L. Kelley and wife, Pam of Arlington.
