Mickey Ray Nevill

Our world imploded when Mickey Ray Nevill left this life to claim his heavenly home.  On Monday, September 27th, Mickey went to his eternal rest with God Our Father after sustaining unsurvivable injuries from a motorcycle accident. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Kyla Nevill; his daughters Samantha (Brice) Towles and Faith (Christian) Miller; his son Jared (Macy) Nevill; their mom, Donn Teague; his 10 grandchildren Camden, Callie, Jaycie, Chloe, RJ, Kyndel, Carter, Finn, Whitney and Carson; his step-children Nathan (Susie) Blauser, Wayland Blauser and Ashlyn Blauser; his brothers Tommy (Ellen), Mike (Miranda), Mark, Roger and Joni (Sara) Nevill; In-laws Doug and Kay Vaughn; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; countless dear friends and neighbors; and the entire Iron Circle Brotherhood.

Mickey grew up mainly in Corsicana, TX and served as a US Army Military Police Officer, worked in several capacities at the Hillsboro Police Department, including officer, training officer, canine officer, court officer, school resource officer, investigator and finally retiring in 2019 as a lieutenant.  He spent over 11 years with Basic Energy Services, and was most recently serving as the Director of Safety for Flying A Pumping Service and API WIreline. Mickey's vast knowledge of all aspects of safety and his personal flair will leave a huge hole that won't be easy to fill.

Mickey has always put his family, country and community first.  He loved his LEMC Iron Circle family (which he joined in 2015) and all his brothers in law enforcement.  He was passionate about life and prided himself on being a good neighbor in any way possible.  Wherever Mickey went, he spread his joy, his gifts and talents, and his passion for making things better for those around him by always doing the right thing.  Mickey defined protection, trust, loyalty, brotherhood and service. Mickey leaves us all to carry on this legacy of selflessness.
A celebration of Mickey's life will be held Monday, October 4th @1pm at the Hills Church located at 6300 NE Loop 820, North Richland Hills, TX 76180.   If you wish to honor Mickey's life in a tangible way, please reach out and help a neighbor, volunteer in your community or pay a kindness forward whenever you think of him.  If preferred, donations made in Mickey's honor to the Mighty Mac fund (Zelle via mightymacfund@gmail.com ) or the charity of your choice would equally bless his family.
