Mike "Mikey" Greger

Mike “Mikey” Greger, 61, of Whitney and formerly of Paris,Texas passed away September 29, 2012, in Whitney. Mike was the son of Joe Fred and Dorothy Nell (Barnes) Greger and was born in Dallas on January 12, 1951. He grew up in East Texas and after moving to the Whitney area, he worked as plant superintendent at the Lime Plant in Blum, and also did work as a Commercial Roofer.

Mike’s hobbies were hunting and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys no matter what. Spending time with his family and friends was another enjoyment in life for Mike since he never met a stranger.

Preceding him in death was his grandson, Kory Taylor Fletcher.

Survivors include his daughter, Michelle Fletcher and husband, Kenneth of Whitney, sons; Marty Greger and wife, Dawn of Moyers,Ok., Sean Greger of Abilene Texas, brother Larry Joe Greger and wife, Laura of Mesquite , sister Gayle Lyerla and husband, Kenny of Carrollton , four grandchildren; Kolten Fletcher, Kendle Fletcher, Justice Greger and Emily Greger.

Memorial services will be held Monday October 1, 2012, at 1 P.M. at Cedar Creek Baptist
