Mike Mitchell

Mike Mitchell, 56, of Little Elm, Texas died Monday, December 17, 2007, in Paris, France. Mike was born February 24, 1951 in Corpus Christi, Texas the son of John H., Sr. and Margaret Mary Shepherd Mitchell. During junior high school, he moved to Hillsboro and graduated from Hillsboro High School and completed Hill Junior college. On March 5, 1972 Mike married Karen Ramirez in Itasca. In 1974 he began working for Haliburton and spent 34 years with the company. One of his favorite passions was reading. Preceding him in death were his father and a brother, John H. Mitchell, Jr. Survivors include his wife, Karen Mitchell of Little Elm; mother, Margaret Mitchell of Hillsboro; two children, Zoie Hawley and husband, Dave, of Whitney and Sean Mitchell of Lafayette, LA; sister, Audrey Tufts of Abbott; and seven grandchildren, Patrick, Stewart, Selah, Yosef, Timothy, and Shalom Hawley and Mason Michael Mitchell.
