Mildred Earline Bruton, 85 of Hillsboro passed away on October 3, 2008 in Waco. She was the daughter of Joseph Millard and Josephine Dora Court Rainbolt. She attended and graduated from school in Penelope. On Feb. 13, 1942 she married Robert Bruton in Hillsboro and he preceded her in death on June 16, 2008. She worked for Maloufs and Cercon in Hillsboro. She and her husband also ran the Moon Café in Hillsboro for a number of years. Earline was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church in Hillsboro where she played the piano, a member of the Harvester Friendship Class and she was also a member of the Hillsboro Senior Citizen Organization. Also preceding her in death were her parents; son, Danny Bruton; sister, Una Pearl Beucleur and brother, J. W. Rainbolt. Survivors include her daughter, Judy Clay and husband, Clark of Fairview; daughter-in-law, Evelyn Bruton of Mesquite; sisters, Sarah Winters of Fort Worth, Lola May Cook of DeQueen, Arkansas; 8 grandchildren, Wendy Funk, Cindy Bruton, Tracie Smith, Robby Clay, Craig Clay, Jennifer Brown, Wade Bruton, Joanna Huff; 11 great grandchildren, Kayla Uptmore, Kaycee Moore, Kara Moore, Justin and Harrison Smith, Toby Clay, Ty Bruton, Cameron Fulgham, Faith Brown, Ryan Brown and Katherine Clay.
