Mildred Kennedy

Mildred was born in Hill County on February 16, 1917, the daughter of Otto Teddy and BessieSharpensteen Morgan. She was a long time resident of Abbott and graduated from Abbott High School. She married James Kennedy on November 26, 1953 and he preceded her in death on November 2, 1991. She worked as a beautician and was a life long member of the Abbott Methodist Church. Also preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers, and one sister. Survivors include her daughter, Nan Kennedy of Houston; sister, Sammye Morgan Campbell of Irving; two sisters-in-law, Sue Morgan of Cedar Hill and Frances Honeycutt of Austin; devoted companion, friend and helper, Linda Langdale of Abbott; nieces and nephews: Gary Morgan, Carter Morgan, Paul Morgan, Ted Morgan, Jay Porter, Rex Porter, Vicki Hilburn, Donna Fajkus, and Kay Clark and several other nieces and nephews.
