Mildred Prince

Mildred Prince, 89, of Whitney passed away on August 15, 2005 in Hillsboro, Texas. She was the daughter of Mark and Lenna Conley. Mildred graduated from Texas Womens University with a Bachelors in Science. She taught public school on every level including college. Her first teaching job was in El Paso, Texas where she married the principal, Horace Prince in 1939. She was also a Home Demonstration Agent for Southwestern Public Service Company in Amarillo. Mildred retired in 1985 and lived in Amarillo before coming to the Whitney area in 1996. She was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Hillsboro. Preceding her in death were her parents and two brothers. Survivors include her children, D?Anne Thompson and husband, Don of White Bluff, John Prince and wife Jonie of Lodi, CA, Nancy Prince of Laveta, CO, Sally Smith and husband, Robert of Altus, OK; grandchildren, Luciano Ozzello, Clayton Brumett, Serenity Ozzello, Dylan Ozzello, Mike Thompson, Lisa Thompson, Jimmy Prince; great grandchildren, Vincente Ozzello, Ashely Dawn Brumett, Blake Brumett, Emily Brumett, Mikala Thompson, and Noah Thompson.
