Minnie Young

Minnie Mozell Young, 80 of Fort Worth passed away on March 22, 2009. Minnie was born on November 22, 1928 in Whitney, the daughter of William and Lurline Wall Cappers. She married Troy Gene Young on October 8, 1947 in Whitney and he passed away on April 1, 1977. She was a homemaker enjoying country music, birdwatching and raising house plants. She was of the Baptist faith. Minnie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother, Billy Wayne Cappers. Survivors include her children, Myra Jean Wills and husband Roy of Fort Worth, Nelda June Tassie and husband, Kevin of Hermiston, Oregon, Sandra Joy Eidson and husband, Ronnie of Watauga, James Troy Young and wife, Emily of Arlington; sister, Dorothy Janelle Davis and husband, Tony of Arlington; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
