Morris Kruger

Morris Kruger, age 86, of Malone passed away Friday, June 14, 2019 in Hillsboro, Texas. A funeral will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Salem Lutheran Church with Reverend Anthony Oncken officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Lutheran Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 18th at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

Morris was born January 22, 1933 in Malone, the son of Willie and Estella (Radke) Kruger. He married Rosemary Rader on June 18, 1955 and she preceded him in death on June 5, 2016. Morris served in the United States Army just after the end of the Korean Conflict. He had a love of flying and was an aircraft mechanic, owning Kruger Propellor Service in Malone for over 30 years. He also loved working on tractors and playing the trumpet and piano.

Morris is also preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Harlen Kruger; sister-n-law, Irene Zeno.

He is survived by his children, Michael Kruger and Mark Kruger and wife Dana; brothers, Calvin Kruger and wife Joy, Bill Kruger and wife Jessie, and Tommy Kruger; sister-in-law, Kathy Rader; brother-in-law, Ernie Zeno; grandchildren, Josh Kruger, Marcus Kruger, Melody Coleman and husband, Michael; great grandchildren, Mwarisimone, Xea, Riley, and Payton.
