Mozelle Pass died Monday, October 17, 2005, at Trinity Mission of Italy, Texas. She was the daughter of William Thomas and Mary Alice Motley of Milford, Texas. Mozelle was born June 9, 1915 in Irene, Texas where she graduated from high school with honors. She attended Hillsboro Junior College and later graduated from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, Texas earning her bachelors degree. She was a dedicated schoolteacher for many years in the Hill and Ellis county areas. After retiring from teaching, she worked for Adam Hats in Dallas, Texas for 15 years. She was a member of Cockrell Hill United Methodist Church in Dallas where she was the pianist. During her retirement years, Mozelle volunteered her time playing piano and sharing her love for music at several nursing homes in Dallas. She is preceded in death by her husband, A. B. ?Happy? Pass; son, William Victor Pass, of Dallas; and brother, W. T. Motley, of Dallas. She is survived by one daughter, Grace Alice Thompson and husband, Sam, of Forreston, Texas; one son, A. C. Pass of Dallas; one grandson, Steven Wesley Thompson, of Kerrville, Texas; one adopted grandson, Richard Vincent of Dallas; one step-granddaughter, Stephanie Harris; one great-granddaughter, Angelica Danielle Thompson of Kerrville; and two step-great granddaughters, Kyndal Harris and Sydney Harris. She is also survived by sisters, Morene Matthews and husband, Lee, of Irving, Loree Brown and husband, William, of Irene, and Denara Ruth Motley of Irving.
